Back in Stock At Gadget Shop!
Gadget Shop has the Pleo back in stock!
From what I can work out is that they had the stock come in today. What they haven't already sold with the pre-orders to-date, they've put on the site now.
My view is that some of us that were waiting for their Gadget Shop delivery should recieve it Monday next week as City Link don't delivery on the weekend.
I'm not sure how it affects things if you've ordered with next-day delivery, if it'll come on Friday or not??

I ordered one last night and it went through fine - for a 5% discount use the code vouchercodes5which went through ok.
I ordered my Pleo last week and is not being delivered today as City Link said nothing for me today.... so looks like Monday/Tuesday still...I Hope...
i just ordered one.. from gadget with the code .. seemed to work.. lets hope it arrives in time !

it's no problem. I'm getting a bit of heat off my girlfriend for getting up at 7am to check stock! I think I may have to give her my Pleo - when it arives :-(

phoned gadget shop today not in stock until perhaps monday/tuesday next week, what a joke.
Ordered last night from Gadget shop and order is now showing complete. Carrier is listed as unknown so tracking button doesn't work. Seems a bit dodgy saying they are in stock and processing the order if they are not.
has anyone actually got conformation that is has been despatched - cannot get through on phone yet my order shows as complete - they are now saying "out of stock" on website ??

Further update on "The Gadget Shop" after 3 attempts finally got through on phone - they did NOT have it in stock as they CLAIM quite clearly on their website this is a "pre order" (how do they get away with this ??) but they do Guarantee that I will get mine before Christmas (if not i get a full refund) - I do hope they realise that if they are lying (as they seem to do pretty well) they will spoil my 2 kids Christmas.
I had the same problem I ordered mine last Thursday and got an email on 7/12/07 to say it had been sent. I have contacted customer services they said that it should be in there warehouse today (14/12/07) and here by Monday/Tuesday I have phoned today they do not now if it came in stock but my payment for it was taken 11/12/07. I am not happy with the company.
Ordered on the 6th December, web site showing 4 in stock, e-mail to say it had been dispatched,
phoned the gadget shop, not been dispatched, because they did not have any in stock at the time of taken the order,got through yesterday told delivery expected Monday/tuesday, will recieve an e-mail when my order is dispatched.
Taken monies from my bank account.
This was all through Amazon, i have got in touch with Amazon and will be phoneing them again today.
We will all be very luck if we received this item before Christmas.Also if they do dispatch any they will be delivered my City Link, they do no deliver on Saturdays.
I've two on order, one from findmeagift, which I placed in October, and one from Gadgetshop, which I placed on Thursday when their web site said "In stock".
I feel conned by gadgetshop, and let down by findmeagift. I doubt either will come up with the goods, and even if they did, chances are the delivery wont be b4 Christmas Day.
We've all been conned, particularly by the gadgetshop.
update , phoned gadget shop yesterday (sat) they have had some in, my order has been dispatched, i have a tracking number, delivery by City Link, should receive it Monday/Tuesday,I ordered on the
6th December,get phoneing and good luck, when i receive it i will post a comment.
Gadget shop sent me an email on Friday saying that the Pleo I ordered on Thursday evening, when their site said that they were 'in stock', was dispatched on Friday PM via City link, but again, no consignment number and therefore no tracking on line.
I'm never going to get the damn thing sold on Ebay for a massive profit at this rate...
I've just had the same problem - too busy to call them but dropped them an email!

I ordered my Pleo 6th Dec from Gadget and called them today and eventually got an answer.. They said all the Pleo's ordered on the 6th Dec are being sent to City Link today and just checked the consignment number they gave me and it says it will be with me tommorow..... so the ones ordered after that date are not in yet....as all the Pleo's they have sold have been Pre Orders... what a joke....
I ordered my second one on the 7th and have just seen its "on route to the delivery branch"!
I've had major problems with City Link in the past. They normally don't ring my door bell. So I'll be at home all day with no music or TV.
I'll be crouched at the door peering through the letter box!
emailed amazon.co.uk today no stock until december 2008.. yes next year.. i emailed them again to check.. no stock for 366 days...anyone know whats going on..amazon web site now say`s out of stock..
I've emailed gatdgetshop twice in the past 24 hours, with no response. Their email on Friday (14th Dec), confirming my order on the 13th, said

Which kinda suggests that it was dispatched on Friday 14th, doesn't it. But the clock is ticking, and with no order confirmation . . . .
And Pleo's are now changing hands on Ebay.co.uk for £425, which means people are getting desperate.

Findmeagift wrang me today (Tues 18th) to tell me that my Pleo will be delivered to my address tomorrow. Yeah!
Still no news on the one from the gadgetshop.
