due to being unaware of pleo until it appeared on the gadget show there was no chance of getting one for xmas (delivery being quoted by most shops 14th jan)so i bought one from amazon.com it cost me £189.00 for pleo and delivery to american address £25 to set up an amarican address £68 for dhl delivery, insurance and import costs, it arrived on the 28th dec the only potential problem the charger runs on 120V but as we already have an adaptor plug and a shaver socket that has a 115V outlet this was ok for us pleo made a great present for helen who at 42 loves it
You should have looked on Ebay. There were some real bargains to be had.
Having pre-ordered pleo in August, I was surprised to receive him on the 20 Dec. Pleo is so great, as I have a child who is dino mad, he is so happy to have him, as does my other child, my husband and myself. We cannot take our eyes off him. The best Christmas Ever!!.
I bought one for my nine year old Grandaughter, my husband and daughter thought I was mad spending £250 on one present. Now everyone loves him, I am officially Pleo's Nana and the only problem is the battery life is not long enough for everyone to play with him!!!!
