With the launch of the Pleo Robotic Dinosaur only few months away, it would be a good idea to try and get a list of where you can buy it from together.

The launch price has been set at $349 but you can pre-order from Wal Mart now and get it on 15th October.

Pre-ordering

The Pleo Toy Dinosaur is set for pre-order in the States on 24th December. But I've had news from their PR agency Shift Communications that the "pre-order channels haven't been confirmed yet" - eek it's getting close!

Already 2006's "must have Christmas present"

The Sydney Morning Herald comments that the Pleo is likely to be this years "must have toy".

With a price around $200 or £130 it won't be a cheap one for the "Father Christmas's" around us. It is the technology, though, that rightly makes it such a desirable gift:

"By using breakthrough materials, an array of sensors and programmed intelligence, Ugobe has created a unique animated form that challenges the relationship between human beings and nonliving creatures," noted Chris Shipley, DEMO's executive producer."
